Animal spotting:
blue monkeys (also called diademed monkeys) and black-and-white colobus monkeys, duikers, klipspringers, mountain reedbucks, common elands, bushbuck, The rainforest is home to many birds, including Hartlaub's turacoes, silvery-cheeked hornbills, African pittas, malachite sunbirds, and African pygmy kingfishers. You might also see white-necked ravens, alpine chats, streaky seed-eaters, and alpine swifts. You might also see elephants, Cape buffaloes, black rhinos, giraffes, leopards, servals, hyenas, baboons, aardvarks, mongooses, porcupines, honey badgers, tree hyraxes, and bush babies.
The best time to see animals is on the lower slopes, especially on the Rongai and Lemosho routes. However, wildlife sightings aren't guaranteed.
